Requiem for a Train

Heroin? Quick name one of two movies on the subject and tell us how much you loved it and how good it was!

Anyway, whilst that may look like felt, it's construction paper. Thus the incredibly pink skin. Sorry about the writing. On top of my regularily messing writing, there's also the bleed factor of fineliner on construction paper. There're little glue chunks there too, especially on the "foo". Hopwfully none got on my scanner. Needless to say, I shant be doing another construction paper strip in a good long time.

I bought a Graphire Bluetooth 6x8 a few weeks ago. I've had difficulty just getting it to work as a mouse, let alone complete failure at getting it to be recognized as a tablet. For this reason, I'm returning it, and ordered a Graphire4 6x8 USB tablet. $50 or so less, way less pretty, way less hassle to set up. I should get it in 3 to 5 business days. The first order came in two business days!

I watched Josie and the Pussycats whilst working on this strip. Twice, the second time with commentary on. As well as all the bonus material. A great movie. A movie which one might call my "guilty pleasure" movie, if I felt any guilt for enjoying it.

Laura and I applied for Concordia University in Montreal this week. That is, we went up there and handed them our portfolios. Now we wait.

I got myself an appointment for a written test to get my learner's driving permit. Five days to study. I wonder if my actual driving will be anything like everyone has always told me I would drive, which is how I drive in video games; wreckless fast and straight into walls. Only time and hospital records will show.

Ooh. [Ahh].
